High-def 1080p coming to YouTube

Starting next week, YouTube will be adding support for viewing videos in 720p or 1080p. With the ever increasing resolution of cameras, YouTube want to be “the best home on the web to showcase your content.” If you have a 1080p HD camera, upload some videos! YouTube will be showcasing the best HD videos on their homepage in a future ‘Spotlight’.
