Chrome OS to be released within a week

Despite Google’s original release date predicted release date of the second half of 2010, a ‘reliable source’ has told TechCrunch it is likely to be released in the next week. Google has previously said they are working with Acer, Adobe, ASUS, Freescale, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Toshiba on the project, but it is currently unknown which devices the new OS will be compatible with.
